Medical background:
After premature birth, 30 weeks, Briana got a bilateral periventricular leukomalacia and retinopathy. She had an surgery at just three weeks after birth and managed to escape the glare, but remained with myopia – forte, diagnosed at 1 year (up to 2 years has failed to stand specific detailed investigations), the values of -24 right eye and -21 left eye. On the motor side, the diagnosis given at 6 months of age is spastic tetraparesis.
